Bed Time!

As in typing this 20th blog, I'm cuddled up with my puppies in bed. They are the best cuddle buddies to ever walk this planet. They look so cute while laying here. My dogs mean the world to me oh my goodness. I love them more than I love my human family. Let's say my heart is split into three percentages. Ten percent is my family members, ten percent is my friends, and eighty percent is my dogs. They are the best creatures to ever walk this planet, no doubt about it. My sweet girls are my everything.

Random Blog

I am laying here at 10:19 in my bed waiting on my game to download and I realized that I still need two more blogs before midnight! So I'm going to complain about how long this game is taking. I've been laying here waiting for about an hour, and I have no clue why it's taking this long! I'm getting beyond annoyed with it. I've been downstairs to get ice cream and a drink, I've done half of my math homework and it still is not done yet. What in the hell is taking it so long? I guess we'll never know!

I Love My Job

I do work at Busch as I've mentioned before, and this weekend at work sure was a great one. So I was at the entrance of one of our haunted houses, and at the entrance, the job is to tell people how long the wait is, where to walk, and that they cannot have open drinks or stuffed animals. These three guys can walking up to me and two of them were holding cups of beer in their hands. As they approached me, I told them they couldn't take the beers in with them, they had to either finish them or throw them away. As they sat there and chugged their beers, I could see they were already pretty intoxicated. Their beers were about two-thirds the way full, and as they walked by me, one of them grabbed me and said "sweetheart I think I've had too much to drink." As he finished this sentence, he started to fall over. The one sober guy that was there caught him, but as he was falling he spilled his beer all over me. In my hair, on my uniform, everywhere. It was the worst. So in reality, my job sucks.

My New Bedroom

This weekend, me and my family remodeled my bedroom! This may not sound like an interesting thing, but to me, it's the best thing ever. I've been stuck with my "little girl" room since, well I was a little girl. I had green and purple walls with a colorful fan, and princess stuff everywhere. And finally, at 18 years old, all of that is gone! We painted my walls a pretty light blue, and I got a navy set of sheets and comforter for my bed. I got a new fan, and we tore up the carpet in my room so now it's a nice hardwood floor. We also rearranged all the furniture which is a nice new feeling. I really love having a big girl room!

Grandma and Aunt Cheryl

So this weekend, my grandma and Aunt Cheryl came in to town from North Carolina! They're my favorite family members so I have loved every minute of it. While they've been here, we've remodeled my room, so I'm one happy girl! We also made a lot of food and baked lots of goods. Unfortunately, tomorrow they head back to Raleigh. I'm not really looking forward to them leaving because I just really love their presence.

Rubik's Cube Struggles

The other day, I took a visit back to my high school to say hi to all of my teachers, the ones I liked to say the least. My favorite teach, Mrs. Blevins, had a Rubik's cube in her desk. I decided I was going to google how to solve it and try to figure it out. I thought that since I googled
it and had all the steps to it, that I would be able to easily do it. Yeah, not the case. I sat there for two hours trying to solve the damn thing. Finally I gave up. I did return the next day to try it again, and after two more hours I finally figured it out! I solved a Rubics cube! That cube over there, yeah, I solved it! I felt so accomplished, it was just the best thing ever!

First Weekend Of Work!

The weekend of September 25th was opening weekend for Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens, the Halloween theme. Howl-O-Scream includes a variety of seven different haunted houses, different "scare zones" and many different Halloween themed shows to watch. I work in the haunted houses, not as the scary people, but the people that stand inside to make sure everyone is moving through the maze and doing okay. Opening weekend didn't have the best weather forecast. It was rainy, yet hot and humid. Regardless of the forecast, working was very fun, and I had a blast! I can't wait to continue working throughout October. It's the easiest job because I get paid to stand there and laugh at people that get scared. It's very entertaining.

Returning Morgen to JMU

Two Sunday's ago, I had to return my bestfriend to James Madison University. We left around 8 in the morning, and we drive straight through except for our stop at Starbucks. It wasn't a long drive at all, about two hours, give or take a few minutes. When we got there, we took some groceries up to her dorm and then she proceeded to show me around. The campy was beautiful! I loved it, she almost convinced me to change my transfer decision. Her roommates were also very nice and extremely funny. I'm glad that the right people are taking care of my bestfriend.

Uh oh

I haven't blogged in quite a long time, and today, Professor Oberman informed me that our midterm is to have 20 blogs by October 12th. That doesn't sound too bad, but considering I think I only have about 12-15 blogs, I have a few I need to catch up on. So I really need to get blogging. I have tons to blog about, so I'm not worried about running out of information. Just a matter of actually typing it up and doing it! Let's get started!
