Final Blog

For my final blog, I just want to thank you, Professor Oberman, for being seriously the best English teacher I have ever had and for making my first college English class a great experience. Your class has been the only one that I do not dread going to. I enjoy going to your class every morning, I am actually pretty upset that it is over! I never thought I would say that. There was always such a good vibe in your classroom. You also just made learning easy. The way you talked to us about it, made it easy to understand. The one thing that I have definitely picked up from you is contractions and not using them. I am absolutely positive that I will not enjoy English 112 anywhere near as much as I enjoyed your class. Thank you for everything, and I wish you the best!

The Muppets

So my moms boyfriend is currently watching the muppets. Apparently the muppets are made for adults now, which makes is hilarious. We're watching this one where Kermit and someone are dating he wants to move in with her. It's kinda strange cause I'm used to the little kid muppets. Anyways, also I'm almost finished with these forty blogs. I just made a cheese sandwich. People think I'm weird for eating just plain cheese sandwiches but like they're amazing. They are so simple yet so delicious. Lillie, my dachshund, is laying in my lap asleep and it is so precious. I'm also looking at the fireplace where our stockings are hanging, and I just realized that my sisters definitely isn't hanging up...why, I don't know. She's going to be upset about that we need to fix that before she gets home.

The Cowboys

So my poor cowboys are done for this season. We had a chance once Tony Romo came back, we won the first game he came back against the Dolphins. On thanksgiving we played the undefeated panthers, where Tony Romo once again got hurt. So now we are definitely done for and its a race between the redskins and the Giants for first place. Personally I hope the Giants will pull through and win, but the Redskins play the Cowboys twice here soon, and they're going to beat us, because Tony Romo is out, which will definitely give them the first place spot. Which really sucks because I hate the redskins and their fans.

Update

My mother just walked in the door from her date drunk, on a Tuesday night. She said that the restaurant they went to, the bartender kept giving my mom samples of different types of alcohol and look at what happened. Now she is actually sitting next to me laying her head on my shoulder watching me type this, yelling not to embarrass her, and it's hilarious. She keeps repeating herself over and over. And now she's talking about stealing a live penguin and bringing it home with her. And how she can imagine our dachshunds trying to stand up to a penguin. This is a comedy show.

Productive Day

Today has been an extremely productive day for me! I had class at 9:30 and I got there but my professor never showed up. So I went home, and I started to finish my rough draft for English class, which that took me forever because I overthink everything. After about six hours of constant writing and thinking, I got it finished. After I finished that, I started to study for my psychology test tomorrow. Then I took a break and went to Chuck E. Cheese with the little kids I babysit. I came back home where I got all of my warms ups together, and now I'm sitting here doing all of these blogs because I have waited until the very last minute to do them.

Softball Tournament

This weekend I played in an adult co-Ed softball tournament. Keep in mind, I have played fast pitch softball my entire life. It took me an entire game to be able to hit the ball. The ball was pitched SO slow. I couldn't do it to save my life. And it was kind of scary because there were grown men on the teams, so when I was playing second base, they hitting balls so ridiculously hard at me. I was honestly hoping the ball would never be hit to me, but it was always hit to me. The only good thing about me being the little one on the team was I was chosen to run for everybody as well.

Christmas Tree

Every year, we put up our Christmas tree the day before Thanksgiving. So this year, after our tree was successfully put up and decorated, it came crashing down. Yeah, on Saturday I brought Sierra over to the house for a bit to keep me company because I was home by myself and my dogs were in North Carolina still with my mom. At night time I turned the light on the tree on. Sierra freaked out because she had never seen what these lights were before. Safe to say, she attacked the Christmas tree and it came crashing down. A few decorations broke, but when I sent the picture to my mom, she still found it hilarious. I think we all did.

Glasses

A couple of weeks ago, I stayed the night at a friends house, and her dog destroyed my glasses. My glasses are expensive Nike glasses, and I had just gotten them back in August. My mom always threatened that I better not let anything happen to them because they were so expensive. So we handled it on our own without telling my mom and we ordered the same ones with the same prescription and everything. It's funny because my mom never noticed that I went an entire week without any glasses on my face. I was extremely surprised that she didn't ever question why I wasn't wearing them.

Car Break Ins

So two nights ago around 3:46 AM, a bunch of guys pulled up to the front of my house In a black SUV. About six guys dispersed from the vehicle and went to everyone on my street's cars. They broke into all of them. They stole my credit card, my money, my softball bat, my north face jacket, my shoes, my vehicle registration, and my moms purse, her boots, and jacket. My neighbor across the street, who is a cop, and ourselves, caught them on camera and the police are using the footage to figure out who it is. So yeah, that sucked.

Christmas Town!

This past weekend was opening weekend at Christmas town at Busch gardens! I thought it was going to be an awful thing to work but it turns out I really enjoy doing it. All I have to do is control the crowd in the lines, and then help them take seats in the palace. Once everything is settled I just sit down and get to watch the show. The show that I work is the ice skating show and it is super adorable. There is a cute little boy that does fancy ice skating moves, and at the end there is a cute puppy that is in a Christmas present box. I've watched it eight times now though, so I'm sure it'll get old pretty fast.

This Is Stressful

Seriously though, I have never been so stressed out before. This week and the week after this one are about to be the most stressful weeks of my life. Just tonight I've been stressing about everything to turn in for English, but I have a psychology exam tomorrow, some online quizzes for psychology due tomorrow, and my reflection paper for psychology is due next week. Thursday, I have a presentation for biology that I have yet to put the power point together for my group. I also have to do the stuff for my Biology lab, which is a big pain and extremely difficult to do. Then next week is finals week and I have my precal final on Wednesday, my psychology final on Thursday and my bio final on Friday. That is THREE finals in a row. How am I supposed to pull this off?!?!

Sweet Sierra

Sierra is my black lab that doesn't live with me. You see, my moms friend and I saw a lady that had black lab puppies and she said if she didn't sell them within the next week she was giving them to the pound. So we split the cost and bought one of those puppies, which now is our dog Sierra. She's only nine months and she's huge. I absolutely adore this dog. We go to the beach every week and play fetch and take cute pictures and she runs in the water even though it's probably cold. She loves riding in my the jeep with me. She is seriously the perfect dog for me because she's perfectly trained and can go anywhere with me to do stuff. She's an adventurous dog and I love it.

Cancer?

So last week my mother got diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer. That definitely put a damper on our holidays, because it's a scary thing, ya know? She told us not to freak out and that she thinks she will be okay, but that's never a good thing to here. I have done a lot to help her since I found out. And I have taken off of work on all of the days that she has doctor appointments for her. I want to be there with her every step of the way. She told me not to worry about it because I have so much going on, but she's my mom, of course I'm going to help her through it.

My life hates me

So right now I am trying to do all of my blogs because they are due tomorrow and I need my wifi right? I don't want to use my data, and I am at my own house, so I should have wifi, correct? NO! The wifi just shut off and so now I have to use my data. Are you kidding me? It's like it knows that I procrastinated and this is my karma. Why does this kind of stuff always happen to me?

Thanksgiving

So for thanksgiving, my brother, sister, and brother drove to Virginia Beach for thanksgiving dinner with my dad's side of the family. We ate at my cousin's house, and my aunt made my favorite dish, Brocolli and Cheese casserole. That's pretty much all I ate. After dinner, we got in the car and headed to Raleigh, NC, where we met my mom at my grandmas house for her side of the family dinner. We had all of granny's classics, in one night. Spaghetti, chicken pastry, roast and potatoes, and biscuits of course. Safe to say it was a good thanksgiving.

Shattered Phone

The day after Thanksgiving I shattered my phone. I was livid. I had a outter box on it and a temporary glass screen on it. It happened so fast. I was sitting in my recliner and I got up to talk to my mom and her friend and it slipped out of my hand. It was literally at my knees and barely even fell. It's amazing how easily an iPhone will crack. Right after it happened my mom was so made and we made an appointment to go get it fixed so I will soon have my perfect screen back.

December 1st

It's December 1st ! Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It is an except able time to listen to Christmas music, it may snow, and you get to bundle up and drink hot chocolate. It is also close to Christmas and who doesn't love presents and no school. You get to hang out with your friends and have a reason to dress up like an elf. Everyone has to love Christmas unless and if you don't it looks like you're getting a bag of coal.

Redskins vs. Giants game

On Sunday, November 29, the Redskins and Giants played. This game was the game to determine who would be the first in the division. The Redskins had scored twice all and the Giants had nothing. When they got into the fourth quarter the Giants started scoring and it got really intense. Even though I am a die hard Cowboys fan this game was big. The Redskins was able to hold them and now is number one in the division!

My Friend has Chickens !

In April on the day before Easter my friend got chickens. They keep them in there backyard and eat the eggs they lay. One day I was over at their house and their daughter Harper let one of them inside. I watched them 45 minutes to catch the chicken. By the time they had got the chicken there was a poop and everything else you could think of. Let's just say the chickens are crazy.
